JENNIFER’S PASSION 2020 AWARDS

Hi Everyone!

Taking a little break from my (pending) JCP Features project for a while for a special rewind of 2020. (which is late for 3 months already. I'm sawrryy!) Like I used to do every year in this blog, I reflected on what happened in that year. This time I will do it in a form of awards for every little thing I appreciate in 2020. Since 2016, I have the habit of watching year-end awards and inspired to do in my version this year. 2020 was an unusual year for all of us around the world. The things we used to think it is natural, we couldn’t have anymore, and unexpectedly, we lost many things in 2020. Even so, let’s start 2021 with new fresh energy and hope that all this pandemic drama is over!

The awards will be separated into few categories, such as TV Shows & Music, Foods, and Random stuff. All the awardees listed down below are purely according to my opinions and just for fun.

TV Shows & Music

I spent half of my 2020 watching TV and listening to music, so I have a lot of favorite things to award in this category. I also noticed that many of my friends and acquittances (from Instagram) watched Korean shows during the quarantine days, so I believe many of you might be familiar with the awardees listed down below.

Update: The House Detox is now not just a pilot show. It's become a regular Monday TV Show.

Foods

I loveeee food. Well, I used to be a picky eater, but after hanging around with heavy eater and foodie friends in university, my palette changed. I started to eat most kinds of food. The foods I used to dislike? I ate them now and loved them. I was influenced by my mom for disliking pork, but hell yeah, it was one of the most delicious poultry in the whole world (but it all depends on how they serve it). I dreamt to be a food blogger actually and I travel for trying delicious food out in the world. Also, this year I learned that food does not only give you energy, it gives you comfort. Random Stuff

This section will be filled in with everything that I like other than TV show, music, and food. Beauty stuff, fashion, and many more.

I have a hard time choosing all of the lists above because I like so many things. This list pretty much sums up how my 2020 be like. Well, as you can see 2020 is not that bad, it’s just hard. I just wanted to thank every medical helper out there wherever you are, so have done well. I hope we can work hand-in-hand to fight this pandemic soon. Please don’t forget to use your mask wherever you go and please wash your hands regularly.

I wish you a great 2021 and hopefully, the world gets better and we finally can have a real warm hug and freely see each other again. Thank you for the support in 2020 and I hope I can have more exciting posts in the future (also reviving my YouTube Channel!).

[LATEPOST] MID 2017 HAUL

Hello! I’m finally writing a post on my blog and uploaded a video on Youtube. Finally I got time to write and sum up all my hauls for middle 2017. On this blog, I’ll write the things that are not included in my 26 minute long video. Ikr… But mostly it’s about clothes that I bought, snacks, and few un-categorized things, but its cute!

COTTON ON HAUL

 

I bought few pieces of clothes from Cotton On. In case you didn’t know about Cotton On, it is a retailer like H&M, Forever 21, etc. It is originally came from Australia, so the price is quite cheap. Well, you can say Cotton On is one of the competitor for both H&M and Forever 21. Oh, I bought a cute fries sweater also. But I forgot to take the photo of it.

PETER ALEXANDER HAUL 

I was dragged to this Peter Alexander wagon. Peter Alexander is a sleepwear brand from Australia. I bought few sleepwear from this brand in discounted bargain. The real price of this brand was not cheap. Expensive actually for a sleepwear. BUT! If you touch the material, you will accept the expensive price. Not only that, they have cute designs also. I fall in love in the first sight when I enter the store. If you happened to get your hands on this brand, you should. Find the good bargain though, like going to the Factory Outlet! More details:

RED ROCK DELI 

I’ve mentioned it one of the flavor on my video. IT IS THE BEST CHIPS IVE EVER EATEN! They have various flavor available, but my favorite one is the Honey Soy Chicken one. I’ve also bought the Sea Salt & Black Truffle, it was nice at the first few bites. Maybe, if you eat the whole package at once, it will taste too salty. But, the fragrance was so goooood! I really like truffle though.

KIKI.K HAUL

 

I went to my favorite shop, which is KIKI.K. This shop sells variety of notebooks, office supplies, and stuff with cute designs. I bought like few things, such motivational books and its workbook (?) and also a reflection book. Their design catches my eyes and motivate me to use it. It motivates me to do some of this aesthetic photography more.

Instead of pen, I use mascara. Balanced lashes is important, girls!

TYPO HAUL 

Another shop that I went to buy un-categorized stuffs is Typo. Both stores are like a heaven for me (?) I went crazy after going inside the store. I wanted to buy everything. I went to a factory outlet one, so they have all products on discount. It makes me more crazy. Stuffs I bought are patches, cards, and sticker books for decorating. The comic bubble pouch is the it-item from my Typo hauls. So cute, isn't it? The stickers to decorate it were also from Typo.

CHOCOLATES HAUL

My love for chocolate was unstoppable when I went to Australia. So, I bought few chocolates that are not available in Indonesia, especially my own Kit Kat. It was the cutest thing ever in my chocolate world. Even though it is expensive and I prefer the regular Kit Kat, but I can't resist to buy. HAHA. Look at the design! The other one was the awesome Celebrations Chocolate. I was introduced to this chocolate from Tanya Burr and I love all of it except Bounty. Idk why I don't like it. I bought it from Target, some place I've never been before and excited to see it but the Australian Target kinda sucks. Oops!

Summer Haul!

HELLO! It's summer here in Indonesia, but due to global warming, we have a lot of rain these days! Hufftt!:( andddddd I got NO HOLIDAY!!!!! :S Anyways, I wanted to share some new things I purchased this summer. My best friend helped me on buying these things from the USA. Thank you Angel! :D  

 

Loungefly x Hello Kitty Bag

got freebies! iPod touch case. :D

Wanted a new bag that can be used for everyday use. I followed Loungefly on instagram, then I saw this bag. I opened their website, and saw that this bag was on sale. How can I not buying it? :D The bag has two designs. One zebra design and the other one is checkered design. I picked the zebra one, because my mom said the zebra one is more youthful than the checkered one. Even though I like the checkered one. Since, she the one who will pay, I followed her. If you don't know about Loungefly brand, you could open their website: loungefly.com. Loungefly is an American brand that sells bags, wallets, and accesories. They usually teamed up with some characters for their products such as, Hello Kitty, Tweety, Tinkerbell, etc. First know this brand when my mom bought their Hello Kitty bag in HongKong. Their bags were good for everyday or formal purpose. I'm going to buy 2 more bags from Loungefly. :p

Sephora x Hello Kitty Eyes & Lip Pallete

I have bought the same pallete last year, but the eyeshadow was broken. :( So, I purchased again this time, and I bought two at once. Since it will be not available anymore. I bought the pink and purple ribbon. I don't know the series or the code. The pink ribbon one has basic colors of eye shadow, while I like the purple ribbon's lip pallete. They came in 4 different colors both for eye shadow and lip gloss.

FINALLY! I bought the famous NAKED EYESHADOW PALLETE! Kind of regretting to purchase this pallete, since I did not use eyeshadow on daily basis. But, buying good makeup is an investment. Someday, I'll need it. Thinking to be a make-up artist specializing in natural makeup. ^^ No lie, but I was tempted by all beauty blogger on YouTube raving this product. So, here I am, having this product! Cannot wait to use this!! :D
